Vision Statement

In the 54th Street Elementary School Learning Community, each member including administrators, teachers, students, classified staff, para-educators and parents are all invested stakeholders. As such, we will encourage, support and demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning, so that all students will have equitable access to the curriculum.

By promoting high expectations through the implementation of state academic standards, our aim is to empower all stakeholders to achieve their personal levels of academic and behavioral excellence, including mastery of curriculum and technology.

Our students will be highly motivated and academically competitive. We are committed to establishing a safe, non-threatening, open forum with a focused, stakeholder leadership and administrative team working toward clear and articulated goals. As a developing Professional Learning Community, we pledge to empower students by fostering a collaborative environment in which we hold other accountable to the vision.

Our new Principal is Dr. DeWayne Davis. He was previously a succesful principal at Century Park Elementary School. Welcome to our Learning Village Dr. Davis.
