City of Angels School is comprised of 93 teachers: 80 high school teachers, 10 middle school teachers and 3 elementary school teachers. Our teaching staff is highly qualified and has a higher percentage of fully credentialed teachers than the District; their average years of teaching is more than double that of LAUSD.

Nearly a quarter of our teachers have earned Master’s Degrees, twice the average of the District. In addition, we have 3 National Board Certified Teachers on staff as well as 90% of our Teachers satisfied the credential requirements of No Child Left Behind.

Our teachers follow rigorous curriculum that is State of California standards-based instruction. Students must meet a minimum of one-hour-per-week with their assigned teacher and receive 20 to 30 hours of work to complete at home. Teachers work diligently with both parents and students and are partners in fulfilling the educational goals of students.
