**Message from Our Principal, Andrea Yahudian**

Thank you for accessing our school website. I am very proud and honored to be the Principal of Cohasset Street Elementary School. We have an excellent school that is made up of intelligent students, highly qualified teachers, and involved parents. Cohasset is a great place to be. Here are a few tips to ensure your child’s success in school: Send your child to school daily, on time and prepared to learn, Talk to your child about the importance you place on a high quality education and a job well done Communicate frequently with your child’s teacher Practice basic skills with your child and review homework Set aside a quiet place and regular time for your child to study at home Support school sponsored events Encourage your child to read nightly and talk with your child about what was read I am looking forward to an exciting, and challenging year with many positive changes academically, socially and behaviorally. Parental involvement is integral to student success. With parents, community and school working together, I am confident that our students will be empowered to reach their potential as productive citizens.
