SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL
School Site Council, (SSC) is Cowan's policy-making body . SSC is a committee made up of teachers, staff and parents whose ideas and contributions help to make important decisions regarding curriculum, scheduling, and fundraising priorities. In previous years SSC has been vital in establishing support to teachers through various activities and funding a psycho-motor program amongst other valuable contributions. Being a part of the Council is a great opportunity for parents to get to know teachers, staff and other parents as well as stay informed and be a part of the decision making process. SSC meetings are regularly scheduled at 3:30pm every second Tuesday of the month, there are also some evening meetings as required.
