Behavior Specialists:
- Support equal opportunities to learn in the least restrictive environment for students with behavioral barriers.
- Provide and support training on best practices in behavior support planning to district personnel, and families.
- Assist school sites in the integration of instructional practices and strategies, and in the development of behavior support plans, as well as functional analysis assessment.
- Implement discipline procedures consistent with federal and state laws and regulations.
