All who enter VRHS #4 do so to succeed

Valley Region High School #4, located 10445 Balboa Blvd., Granada Hills, 91344, is under construction and scheduled to open in the Fall of 2011. The new school falls under the LAUSD Board Resolution for Public School Choice (PSC) made in August, 2009. Under this provision, an application process has been developed for LAUSD educators, charter school operators, partnerships, non-profits and other independent groups to submit instructional and operational plans aimed at improving student achievement.

The school will be a Zone of Choice school. Students living within the zone boundaries may elect to attend VRHS#4 or may remain in their resident school. Students who live in the area immediately adjacent to the new school will be considered priority for acceptance. Other students within the Zone of Choice will be selected by lottery
