District A staff and community liaisons conduct five (2hrs.) in-service sessions for the community representatives during the school year.

PHBAO Community Representative's Role:

  • To inspire and motivate parents to become actively involved in improving their school and the lives of their children.
  • To enhance communication and strengthen the relationship between parents and school staff.
  • To encourage parents to learn about and provide them with information regarding the District's integration programs, that alleviates the five harms of racial isolation.
  • To provide data to evaluate the schools effectiveness of the integration programs concerning; low academic achievement, low self esteem, lack of post secondary opportunities, interracial hostility and intolerance, and overcrowded conditions.
