at Hamlin Street Elementary are proud to be a High achieving School with an API score of 889. We have been honored with the 2009 NCLB (No Child Left Behind) National Blue Ribbon School Award. We have growing parent involvement through our newly opened Parent Center. Hamlin also has an active PTA.

Hamlin Street Elementary has won the High Achieving Title I School for Seven consecutive years. Only three other schools in the ENTIRE STATE have that distinction.

Hamlin Street Elementary School is located in Local District 1 of the Los Angeles Unified School District. We are nestled in a middle class residential neighborhood in the West San Fernando Valley, a suburb of Los Angeles.
