It is believed that the history of the guitar began Near East, which
is in the Babylonia. Long time ago Egypt and Europe were the first makers of the instrument called
guitars. In 18th century a German called Otto constructed a six strings guitar.
In 1946 nylon strings was replaced as a string guitar. Antonio de Torres was
the maker of guitars, develop more in instrument we know today. In 1700~1800
six string guitar were added and was replaced by single strings. During the
Classical period, there were many composers and performers. Mauro Gulliani,
Metteo Carcassi, and Fernando Caruill published many songs. Also those years,
Guitars were really popular in concerts.
Back in the 1900Õs, Les Paul was famous for playing the
guitar and writing songs. He was a jazz guitarist and an inventor who made
guitars. He was born on June 9, 1915. He was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, loved
to play instruments such as guitars, piano, harmonica, and the banjo. When he
grew up, he went to many radio shows in Hollywood. He recorded many songs such
as ItÕs Been a Long, Long Time and more. After he started to design a fender
guitar, he was famous for that. Today, other songwriters use Gibson Les Paul
guitars.
There are many of
famous guitarist one of the famous bands back in the 1960Õs was the Beatles.
Paul McCartney was known as the base player, the pianist, and one of the lead
singers. Paul was born on June 18, 1942 in Liverpool, England. John Lennon was
born on October 9, 1940 in Liverpool; England. John was one of the singers, a
songwriter, and a guitarist. Sadly John was murdered on December 8,1980. Ringo
Starr was the drummer. RingoÕs real name was Richard Starkey. He was born on
July 7,1940 in Liverpool,England. Ringo wasnÕt the drummer at Pet Vest. George
Harrison was one of the guitarist. He was born in 1943 in Liverpool; England
and died of cancer in November 29, 2001. Now only two of the Beatles are still
alive Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney. The Beatles will always be remembered by
their great music.
There are lots of
types of guitar. There are classical
for an example. Classical guitars are used for classical piece. Later The U. S.
made another type of guitar called the electric guitar and there are many types
of guitar. Les Paul for example made the Fender guitar. There are Rikenbacker
for another type of guitar. They use metal guitars with a Fender and a
Rickenbacker. It is known as we go
on that the guitars we play gets better and better through out the generation.
For instance we have a six stringed guitar but someone made a guitar that had
twelve strings.

There are tabs and notes. Tabs have six
straight lines from left to right. These are the line used for tabs. The first string
has the highest sound and the last string has the lowest sound from the guitar.
The number in the guitar string is the tab. First you press the string with your finger on the first
string and second strings and for the third string too, which makes a chord
called Chord A. So this the easier way to read and fret on the guitar.

About the guitar there are a lots of part of the guitar. There are head and tuning keys
where guitars get tuned. Second, the body is the part where you put your arm
around it. Third of the guitar section is the sound hole and pick guard. The
sound hole is the string that makes sounds when you hit or play with the
strings. The pick guard is bottom of the guitar where it make the pick more
comfortable when you are strumming up and down with a pick, two more advice
about the guitar. One of the advice is every guitar doesnÕt have pick guard,
and second thing is donÕt try to play with your finger to be easier use a pick
or else you are going have a blister. The saddle and the bridge is the part
when most of the guitarists get broken strings, and also it holds the string to
tune and stretch. The frets are on
the necks where you can press between the metal lines, then play any string and
makes a sound, and have maker position which is easier for guitarist because or
else you will hard time finding your frets. And one more thing is the nuts
which hold the string from getting ripped or broken.
