The Bombing of
the Twin Towers
The World Trade Center was located in New York City, United
States. These buildings have also
been called the Twin Towers. They
were the worldÕs tallest structures from 1972 to 1973. David Rockefeller had
the idea and the plans for building of the Twin Towers. The owner of the World
Trade Center was the Port Authority of the New Jersey and New York. The towers
were constructed from 1966 to 1973. The Twin Towers were beset by a fire on
February 13, 1975 and a bombing on February 26,1993.

The plane
crashed by a plane bomb. On September 11th, 2001 the North Tower was
hit at 8:46 a.m. The South Tower was hit at 9:03 a.m. The North Tower exploded
at 10:28 a.m. and the South Tower exploded 9:59 a.m. The attack nearly killed
3,000 people on September 11th alone. The South Tower took 8 seconds
to collapse. The North Tower took 8.5 seconds to collapse. The attack type was a aircraft
hijacking, mass murder, murder suicide, and also a suicide attack.

The New York Fire
Department sent Emergency Service Units so that they can save people who are
badly injured. People recorded down how many people were killed. They found
2,974 people dead and 24 remained missing. After the crash reporters found
people who planned the attack. The people who planned it were Khalid Sheikh
Mohammed and Ramzi Binalshibh. After the reporters found those men, the guys
were arrested in March 1, 2003. Mohammed confessed that he was the one who
decided to do all this.

Theories
that a missile instead of a jetliner attacked the Pentagon on 9/11/01 have been
strenuously posed. There were a lot of witnesses. Steve DeChiaro said, ÒMy
brain could not resolve the fact that it was a plane because it only seemed
like a small hole in the building. No tail. No wings. No nothingÓ. Another
person named John OÕKeefe said, ÒIt wasnÕt what I would have expected for a
plane that was not much more than a football field away from meÓ.
