Mission Statement

The college preparatory program of King/Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science emphasizes scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and effective communication in the context of a multidisciplinary curriculum. We engage our students in a rigorous program of mathematics, science, social studies, English language arts, and world languages, enhanced by the use of technology. We broaden our students' learning by offering opportunities outside of the classroom in observational and experience-based learning in hospitals, research laboratories, and community clinics.
