I have been a teacher at Knollwood for the past thirteen years, teaching first grade and kindergarten. Also at Knollwood I have taught the intervention programs, both Saturday school and summer school for all grade levels. Besides teaching elementary school, I hold a Social Science teaching credential and have taught history in middle school. I am the trainer for both the English Language Development program and Thinking Maps. I have assisted new District teachers and supervised student teachers from CSUN. Currently, I am the Health Coordinator in charge of the Jump for Heart fundraiser. Thanks to the generosity of the Knollwood family, we raised a record of almost $3000.00 last year.
On a personal note, I am married with two children, two dogs, two cats, and two horses but only one husband. My daughter is in her second year of college and my son is a sophomore in high school. I enjoy spending time with my family and animals.
