I am a native Californian and a graduate of Taft High School and Cal State University, Northridge, where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Leadership and Human Relations and an Education Specialist credential. I am married and the mother of two grown children and two dogs who run our "castle".
I have taught grades Kindergarten through 5th grade and currently find my passion for teaching in fourth and fifth grades which includes students with special needs. I have high expectations of all students. They all can learn!
Prior to teaching I was in healthcare management in orthopedic surgery, obstetrics, orthodontics, periodontics, and general dentistry.
I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, gardening and cooking.
