Hi, my name is Elaine White. In the fall of 2008 I started my fourteenth year of teaching in LAUSD. I have taught first grade for the past eight years. I also have experience teaching Kindergarten, second, and third grades. Before I came to work for the school district, I taught primary grades in private school for five years. I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in Art Design in 1987 and earned my teaching credential from UCLA in 1988. I also have a Master's degree in "Educational Computing" from Pepperdine University.
Along with an interest in computers and technology, I enjoy reading, drawing, music, and museums. I also enjoy teaching and helping students reach their full potential. I feel very lucky to be a part of Knollwood.
