High-Flying School

The Education Trust West is a research group that was created to promote high academic achievement for all students at all levels. Recently, they completed a study of schools throughout the United States whose reading and/or math performance is in the top third among all the schools in the state at the same grade level. A school is identified as "high-flying" if their scores are high and they also enroll a higher proportion of poor and minority children than the state's public schools as a whole. In California, we are one of the 355 high performing schools' to receive this honor.
