Vision
Statement Valley Alternative Magnet School is a place where kindergarteners walk among the seniors, and the bus drivers say hello. It is an environment where a student will sit in the middle of the campus with a teacher discussing politics, family life, and when an assignment is due. Students make adult decisions while retaining the child inside. It is a place where birthdays are celebrated with cake and laughter is a constant sound. Valley Alternative Magnet is a place where students are encouraged by their teachers and parents to try their wings in all aspects of life using the wisdom acquired from everyone's experiences. This is a school where teachers amd students are on a first name basis and creativity is inspired without inhibitions. There are risk takers, born showmen, quiet readers, animals lovers, active knowledge seekers, and tree huggers. There are families within families. At Valley Alternative everyone is welcome, everyon has a place, and everyone has value.
