High School Options

High school students grade 10-12 can choose from tow options: Job Site or Valley College. Every Tuesday and Thursday the students get the opertunity to leave the school at 9:00 AM to participate in either the the Job Site or Valley College programs.

Job Site | Valley College

Job Site offers students the opportunity to enhance the curriculum through the hands-on learning at field sites in the community. Students travel to field sites two days a week and work directly with customers and management in positions varying from hospitals, restaurants, book stores, educational institutes and many other businesses. The students work on interdisciplinary projects which weave the practical experiences into the curriculum.

Valley College offers students the opportunity to attend a community college two days a week. The students attend regular college classes then return to Valley Alternative where they are given the support to be successful in their college classes.
