VSC students win the Gold and Silver at SkillsUSA State competition.

Congratulations to Danny Mateo and Terry Stehle for winning gold and silver medals respectively in the SkillsUSA State competition.

 

Danny Mateopin Danny Mateo, Graphic Design student, Venice Skills Center, won first place in the California SkillsUSA pin design contest. Danny competed with students from secondary and post-secondary schools throughout California. The State pins are collected and traded at the SkillsUSA National Competition which takes place in Kansas City.


 

 

 

 

Terry StehleTerry Stehle, CISCO student, Venice Skills Center, won the Silver medal and a laptop in the CISCO/
Internetworking contest. The contest had four components: Cable Making, TAC Call, Router Configuration and written Exam. Terry successuly solved tthe TAC (Trouble Assistant Call), the most complex component of the competition.
