Rivera Superintendent, District KAs superintendent, the goal of District K will focus on the whole child with an emphasis on the core subjects of Literacy, Mathematics, Social Science and Science. However, we cannot neglect other important areas such as the fine and performing arts and those subject and content areas that will assist District K teachers and support staff in the education process which will assist the students of our district to be successful now and in the years beyond school. I encourage you, as parents, to take on the responsibility of keeping close communication with your child's teachers and the school support staff to enable us to work more effectively with our students.
