As an instructional leader to all schools in District K, it is my goal to improve student learning and enable all students to achieve higher academic standards. My main responsibilities include: Elementary District Reading Plan, Secondary Literacy Plan, Standards-Based Instruction, Professional Development, Testing and Nursing Programs.

As a Local District Fellow for the Institute for Learning (IFL) University of Pittsburgh, our team is implementing Principles of Learning (POL) training to all principals and UTLA chapter chairs in District K. Our Local Design Team is implementing IFL disciplinary literacy and lesson study to all secondary content literacy cadre members.
