Teacher's persistent and caring work with students is critical in the learning process. To that end, it is imperative that administrators support the environment in which this bonding occurs. In my role with principals, it is essential that I listen without judgment; keep standard-based instruction a primary focus; insist on equity grounded assessments; encourage collaboration among stakeholders; guide when necessary; influence the tone of communication; and direct as needed. It is my pleasure to work with the San Pedro Family principals and school communities, as well as other nurturing and supportive educational personnel and parents. We believe, "All students can learn!" Local district K will provide the necessary professional support to bring this belief to fruition.
