Dr. Richard A. Vladovic, Superintendent, District KAs superintendent, it is my goal to focus every single person in the district on educating children. This includes everyone who spends any time with a child, from teachers to child care workers to boys and girls club volunteers, to day care providers to parents. When all the adults in a child's life are reinforcing the lessons learned in school, all based upon standards, a child cannot help but succeed. In District K, we are placing a special emphasis on Literacy and Math. Whether you have a child in a District K school, are involved with our schools in some way, or are simply an interested community member, educating our children is your responsibility as well as ours. Please take that responsibility seriously and work toward improving our future through the lives of our children.
