Mr. Howard Vogel, Administrator of Instructional Support Services
As an Administrator of Instructional Support Services, it is my goal to provide on going instructional assistance to all schools in District K. Through our Mathematics initiative during the 2001-2002 school year, all District K schools are on their way to meeting the Mathematics mandate of our District. We are assisting schools in providing the necessary professional development to ensure each student in District K receives the most comprehensive math instruction available. In addition to mathematics, we assist schools in providing the necessary intervention programs that will enable each student to reach his or her potential. Summer School, Intersession and the Extended Learning Program are tools to help individual students. For students to be successful, they must have regular attendance and through the efforts of our Pupil Service and Attendance Counselors, we provide assistance to all schools in District K.
