2 Know Electronic Response Devices

Each IMaST 3 school has received classroom sets of 2 Know student response devices. These response devices are placed in the mathematics and science classrooms to enhance the students' abilities to communicate instantly with their teachers during class discussions, quizzes, and question and answer sessions. Teachers can quickly evaluate student progress towards mastery academic concepts presented during the session and adjust teaching practices accordingly.

It’s so simple to ask your students questions... they enter answers using Renaissance Responders... and the results are transmitted wirelessly to your computer.

But don’t let its simplicity fool you—2Know! will bring more fun, excitement, and

success to your classroom.

With two-way communication, large responder screens that can display both questions and answers, free content, easy-to-use software, and much more. Build excitement for learning in every student—even those who never participated before.

Receive instant feedback to target your instruction more effectively. Create “on-the-fly” quizzes without entering any content using the 2Know! Toolbar. Generate formal assessments using your own content, or more than 8,000 ready-to-use items for Math, Reading, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.

Epson Projectors

Engage. Enlighten. Inspire. Epson projectors with 3LCD technology can help you captivate even the most restless student audience. Easy to set-up and operate, they deliver dazzling colors and sharp, bold imagery whether you're presenting in a classroom, a lecture hall or an auditorium. Plus, the Epson Brighter Futures Education Program gives educators special benefits to help reduce costs and maximize your school's budget.

IMaST Epson projector warranty repair information:

Call the EPSON PrivateLine Technical Support number 1-800-637-7661.  There should be a plastic card in the projector documentation packet that has a PIN # for the PrivateLine Support.

Have the serial number of the projector available and be ready to describe the problem.

Request Option #2: Have Epson email return authorization information for pre-paid shipping of the defective unit back to Epson.

The projector should be shipped back in its original box (or one of similar size and packing).  This option takes about 5-6 days. You will receive a "like new" projector under the 3 year warranty.

If you are asked to provide a PO# on projectors provided by the IMaST Grant, contact Jean Sais, IMaST Project Director jean.sais@lausd.net
