TackThe Bots Want to Grow Their Own Garden

Have you ever thought about growing your own fruits and vegetables? The Bots have. Home grown vegetables are good for you and good for the planet. Some schools have started their own gardens. Maybe your school can to or you can plant one where you live. Locally grown vegetables lower the carbon foot print because a lot of fuel is not used to transport the vegetables from the farm to the dinner table. Locally grown vegetables and fruits are fresher and fresh fruit and vegetables are good for you. Imagine the impact you can have on the environment and your own health by growing your own vegetables and fruits.

Join RAU and DELTA as they plant a vegetable and fruit garden this year. Take pictures of your own garden and send it to them so they can share with others what all the LAUSDnet Kids are doing. Email your pictures (and photo release) to lausdnet-kids@lausd.net
