How YOU Can Save Water!

  • Take shorter showers
  • Turn off the water after you wet your toothbrush
  • Only use the dishwasher and washiing machines when you have full loads
  • Keep a bottle of drinking water in the refrigerator
  • Don't use the hose when washing your car - clean the car using a pail of soapy water. Only use your hose to rinse the car.

  • Don't water the gutter - running your sprinklers for 2 hours can waste up to 150 gallons of water.
  • Water your lawn only when it needs it. (If you step on the grass and it springs back up - it doesn't need water - if it stays flat it does.)
