Beyond the Bell (BTB) Branch The BTB Branch is charged with the responsibility of overseeing all Extended Day Programs. This responsibility includes bringing a sense of coordination, support, guidance and leadership to all programs operating beyond the traditional school day, before and after-school and on Saturdays, with the exception of Adult School. BTB is responsible for a wide range of programs and activities. They include the following: After School Education Safety Programs All District Honor Band Band & Drill Team Championships Before School Education and Safety Programs Civic Center Permits Congressional Awards Extended Learning Academies Extended Learning Program KidCare LA's BEST LA Bridges NCLB Supplemental Educational Services Standards-Based Promotion Students Run LA LA Team Mentoring Youth Services 21st Century Community Learning Centers Our role and responsibility is to grow, enhance and strengthen our present programs and to reach out to the greater Los Angeles community to build partnership.
