MAA Survey: Week of September
13-19
Frequently Asked Questions
1. HOW DO I REPORT MY MAA TIME-ON PAPER OR ON WELLIGENT?
The MAA Office strongly recommends that time surveys
are reported through Welligent. In fact, the District
is expecting to receive all time surveys through Welligent
for employees who have a Welligent account. Most, if not
all, DOTS staff have access to Welligent. Therefore, your
MAA time should be reported online unless you do not have
access to Welligent.
2. HOW DO I COMPLETE THE MAA SURVEY THROUGH WELLIGENT?
Use a web-enabled computer and log on to
http://iep.lausd.net
3. I AM NOT SURE IF I HAVE ACCESS TO WELLIGENT OR MY
PASSWORD IS NOT WORKING
Your username should be your firstname.lastname as in
john.smith. For password, use your first name followed
by the number 1 as in john1. If you have already changed
your password, continue to use your new password.
4. I STILL CAN'T GET ON TO WELLIGENT!
For technical help regarding access to Welligent, please
call the Help Desk at (213) 224-2277, press 5, then 1,
then 4.
5. CAN I SUBMIT MY TIME ON PAPER IF I CAN'T GET ON TO
WELLIGENT?
Again, the MAA Office strongly recommends that time surveys
are reported online by logging on to Welligent. In cases
where this type of reporting is impossible, such as when
an employee does not have a Welligent account, a hand-written
time survey will be acceptable.
6. I HAVE LOGGED-IN TO WELLIGENT-WHAT DO I DO NOW?
When you log-in to Welligent, a box should appear which
states "You have been selected to participate in
a time study between 13-Sep-05 and 19-Sep-05. Do you wish
to begin entering data into the Time Study Form?"
If you are ready to enter data, click "OK".
However, if you have not already taken the MAA Training
through Welligent, please click "Cancel". This
will bring you to the Welligent main page.
On the main page, there is a message for MAA participants.
This message includes information about Welligent MAA
Training. Click to download the MAA Training, which will
teach you how to complete the Welligent MAA forms. The
instructions state to click SAVE, not RUN. Save the file
to your computer, and then open the file to view the training.
This training is comprehensive, and should teach you what
you need to know to complete the survey online. Don't
forget to include your training time on your MAA form!
7. HOW MANY HOURS DO I REPORT?
Although Welligent gives you the option of reporting
up to 8 hours, ALL Transition Teachers should report 6
hours per day, for a total of 30 hours. Teachers who work
a 6.6 hour day (TSTs on multi-track calendars) should
only report 6 hours per day, for a total of 30 hours.
