CIMARRON STUDENT COUNCIL
Are you are interested in running for your class' student council representative?
Student Council is looking for outstanding students and excellent citizens.
The Cimarron Student Council plays a vital role in the development of the students. The Student Council offers 4th and 5th graders the opportunity to actively participate in school wide initiatives, lend their hands to community causes, and see democracy in action. While representing Cimarron, these student leaders will gain responsibility, increased pride in their school, and an overall awareness of events at a local and/or global level.
Student Council is made up of 2 representatives from each classroom from 4th and 5th grades. Leading student council are the elected officers, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian, and Sergeant at Arms. Class representatives along with school officers will be held to high academic and citizenship levels.
Elections for student council will be in October. More information will be sent home through classroom teachers.
