Verdugo Hills Senior High School is slated to open two Ninth Grade Preparatory High Schools in September of 2005.

Friday, February 24, 2005.
Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante visited Verdugo Hills High School on February 24th to encourage the Seniors to apply for the Cal Grant Program.

Wednesday, December 15, 2004. Verdugo Hills High School’s own video series “Taking School Home” was chosen by the National Network of Partnership Schools to be included in its 7th annual edition of “Promising Partnership Practices.”

Friday, August 17, 2001. Assemblymember Carol Liu presented a check symbolizing money she secured in the State Budget for our library security system and to improve science lab facilities.

Friday, June 15, 2001. Verdugo becomes a Title I school, bringing extra funding for our students to increase their math and literacy achievement.
