Status for 2003-2004 School Year
There will only be performance assignments in 9th grade. Elementary and middle schools will not administer performance assignments at this time.

In lieu of performance assignments, other assessments will be administered:

Elementary Schools:
Open Court assessments will substitute for performance assignmnents.

Middle Schools:
The new ELA assessments will substitute for performance assignments.  These assessments are all standards-based and are further explained in an Instructional Guide provided to schools.

High Schools:
9th grade students will once again be assessed via performance assignments.
