Dodson Middle School Is Participating

In a Middle School Technology Project

Dodson Middle School has been tapped as one of eight schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District, and the only school in Local District K, to participate in a $350,000 Middle School Technology Project. This project will integrate new technology in sixth and seventh grade math and science classrooms.

Seven teachers at Dodson have been randomly selected to take part in this project. Each teacher will receive an electronic white-board, an LCD projector, 16 laptop computers, scientific probes, software and a special video system which will allow LAUSD's KLCS television station to air instructional content and video streams at the school. Coaches for the project and professional development will also be provided as part of the program.
