Welcome to the District E Technology PORTAL. Technology encompasses many aspects of the educational environment. Thus, several pages covering different topics concerning technology are necessary. Please visit each of the following sections as the need arises:

Instructional Technology
Here you will find the LAUSD Instructional Technology Plan, Surveys and Assessments, Classroom Initiatives/Programs, and eventually integration guides. Key at this time is the timely completion of the 2004 California School Technology Survey by every school.

Professional Development
This page is where you will find helpful links to programs that provide professional development involving the use of technology in our schools, including free programs (funded by the district) such as CTAP Online and UPDATE.

Technology Support
This resource page includes contact information for LAUSD's Helpdesk, warranty service contacts, equipment insurance and salvaging, equipment and software purchasing, and various other technology support to keep technology running at its fullest potential.

Technology Consortium
The 2003-2004 technology professional development theme this year is "The P.A.S.T.E. To Learning" (Positive And Seamless Technology Enhancement). Individual topics and dates for each Technology Consortium Meeting can be found in the Technology Calendar.
