The Local District Parent Community Advisory Council serves as a conduit linking the Local District with the parents and community. The Council reviews the fiscal plans and has input into the performance review of the Local District Superintendent. The Council plays a role in the review of the Local District Superintendent, primarily in the area of how effectively the Local District Superintendent engages, interacts, and communicates with schools, parents and community members.
Every effort is made to ensure that the Council membership includes parents of students with special needs and is representative of the gender, ethnicity and diversity of the Local District.
Ex-officio Members
Ex-officio members of the Local District Parent Community Advisory Council includes two teachers, two administrators and two classified representatives from Local District K. These members provide support, advice, knowledge and resources regarding budget and instruction.
