Intervention Programs

The following is a list of all intervention programs available. Schools and Students are eligible to participate based on various criteria.

Extended Learning Programs (ELP)

Grades 2-5/6

• Scoring 1 or 2 on Progress Report
• CST@FBB and BB
• EL's not making progress
• IWEN held to grade-level standards
• 30 hour session

Grades 6-8

• Receive D or F in ELA, Math, ESL
• CST @ FBB and BB
• 30 hour session

Grades 9-10

• Based on CAHSEE and CST results
• 30 hour session

 

Tutorial Services Program (TSP)

Grades K-5/6

• 30 hour session

 

English Language Acquisition Program (ELAP)

Grades 4-5/6

• EL's not making progress
• Scoring 1 or 2 on Progress Report
• CST @ FBB & B
• 30 hour session

 

Required Learning Academies (RLA)

Grade 9

• CST @ FBB, BB, and Basic
• 30 hour session, 9 Saturdays per session, 2 sessions per year

 

Extended Learning Academies (ELA)

Grades 6-12, Multi-Track MS & HS

• CST @ FBB, BB, and Basic
• Scoring @ or below 25%tile on CAT6
• Priority to 12th grade students based on CAHSEE and CST results
• 9 Saturdays per session, 3 sessions per year

 

Supplemental Educational Services Program (SES)

Grades K-12

• Low income students attending Program Improvement Schools 2-5
• Parent Application for specific provider
• Schedule determined by provider

 

CAHSEE Intensive Instruction Program

Grades 11-12 & non-grad. 12th graders

• Non passing score on CAHSEE, ELA, or Math
